Conspiracy Site de la Semaine

Here's another dark corner of the "progressive" blogosphere which deserves to be brought into the light.

http://www.stopbigmedia.com/

Unsurprisingly, it's a direct offshoot from the manufacturers of outrage over at FreePress, and you can be sure that whack-job Robert McChesney is somehow involved. (Yes, indeed, he boasts of being co-founder of FreePress.)

Somewhere along the line faux progressives have confused our constitutionally-protected right to freedom of speech with the need for yet another government-run program which mandates forced listening to "alternative viewpoints."

The truth of the matter is the American people are well aware of these alternative viewpoints and are merely giving them attention commensurate with their perceived legitimacy, efficacy and sanity.

From the FreePress homepage:
Free Press is a national, nonpartisan organization working to reform the media. Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media, and universal access to communications.

Here we have yet another one-stop shop for some of the most blatantly liberal propaganda ever assembled, and still they have the unmitigated gall to bill themselves as a nonpartisan organization?

Just check out the ghoulish lineup from FreePress' most recent media "fright fest." These are not tolerant people seeking freedom and diversity in the marketplace of ideas, but rather an extremely small (yet quite vocal) minority dead set on bringing the power of the government to bear in cramming their anti-American and anti-Christian rhetoric down our throats.

Oh, my, faux progressives caught arrogantly and hypocritically preaching to others about "truth" again. Apparently their notion of speaking truth to power occurs when one lies through their teeth and suckers enough people into believing it.
